England continued their preparations for next month's EMF EURO with a trip to Tunisia this past weekend.

The new look England squad played two games over an intense three day period.

The first game, on Friday night, ended in comfortable 6-4 win against local team ESS in Tunisia gave England 6-a-side a winning start.

The main reason for the trip, though, as a game against the Tunisian national side in Tunis. This one ended in a disappointing 6-5 defeat for England.

After taking a 2-0 lead in the first half and being 4-3 ahead at half time in this 30minute each way extended friendly match, the team ended up succumbing in the second half.

Team Director Paul Darke  remained upbeat and said: "There are lots of positives and many lessons learnt from the narrow defeat".

We will catch up with Paul later this week for his latest thoughts ahead of the Euros once the team returns from the trip.
