England Take Another Step

Friday April 22, 2016 at 4:16pm

England carry on their evolution this weekend as they take on Czech Republic on Sunday afternoon.

Paul Darke’s men will be looking to take another step down the road of preparation for EMF EURO, as they take on experienced and dangerous opposition at Carshalton Athletic FC.

It is a rare friendly on home soil. Back in 2013 England took on Bulgaria in Wembley, winning 6-2, and the 2016 vintage will be looking for a similar result.

They have just returned from Germany, where they finished third in the 4 Nations Championship in Bochum.

The last time England took on the Czech’s – who were semi-finalists at the 2015 EMG Euro in Croatia – two late goals gave England a glorious win. Relive the action here.

The game on Sunday kicks off at 3.30 and entry is free.
